Meet the 2024
Summer Camp Counselors and Managers

Ari

Ari is currently a student at The University of Washington studying education and mathematics. Her future plans are to become a high school math teacher. In her free time she loves doing arts and crafts, going to the gym, reading, and playing sports. She has a few siblings and a lot of pets including her betta fish! Ari started with Hall of Fame in the fall of 2023. She is very excited as this is her first summer camp with Hall of Fame Team Camp!

Dash

Dash is a student at Loyola University New Orleans studying History with an Education concentration. He grew up playing soccer, ultimate frisbee, kickboxing, diving, whitewater kayaking, and hiking. He has been an avid drummer for 14 years and a guitarist for 5. Dash has worked for Hall of Fame Team Camp since 2020, and is excited to return for the summer!

Haven

Haven is a rising junior at Nathan Hale High School. She is a dancer and a musician, and in her free time, she loves to read and spend time with family.

She is excited to join HOFTC this year!

Jack

Jack will be a freshman at the University of Washington next year studying Music Education. Aside from performing and teaching music jack enjoys playing games, ultimate frisbee, and fashion. This is his first time working with Hall of Fame but he’s excited to see where it brings him!

Kaya

A rising sophomore at Western, Kaya is pursuing her degree in Elementary Education in the hopes to one day become a teacher. She has been working with kids since 13yrs old — babysitting, tutoring and instructing swim. Kaya is also a seasoned HOFTC counselor who started at Thornton Creek Elementary, plus works occasionally as a preschool teacher assistant. She loves photography, sports, and traveling.

Matias

Matias Burzenski was born and raised in Seattle. He lives with his mom and 14 year old brother. Matias is going to be a Junior at Bishop Blanchet High School in the fall. In his free time he likes to read and cook, and spend time with his three cats (Mittens, Willow, and Merlin).

Nika

Nika is a rising senior at Roosevelt High School where she serves as the vice president. She loves doing debate team, Model UN and marching band. In her free time she reads and spends time with her two dogs.

Tyler

Tyler is a Running Start student who plans to major in mathematics. She loves reading, cooking, arts & crafts, and has been working with kids for over three years.

Bayly

Bayly is a freshman at Oregon State University majoring in fisheries, wildlife, and conservation science and minoring in Spanish. She loves playing many sports including gymnastics, lacrosse, and softball. Bayly has been a wilderness camp counselor for 6 years and is excited to join HOFTC and meet so many new people.

Gemma

Gemma is a rising senior at Garfield High School and runs cross country and track. She has experience teaching kids to read and ski. She enjoys spending time with friends, reading, running and being outside. She has a pet bird called Felix who likes to squawk.

Hillary

Hillary is a seasoned HOFTC counselor who started at Thornton Creek Elementary. She moved from Northern California in 2022 to live with family in preparation to transfer to UW with plans to become a History and Social Sciences major with a minor in Spanish Language and Culture. Hillary has goals to go into higher education and teach children all throughout. Her interests include the outdoors, art, and music.

Jodie

Jodie is a rising college sophomore, and interested in the medical field as well as business marketing. She enjoys cooking, watching movies & shows, listening to music, photography, and crafting (painting and making bracelets). Jodie's worked at HOFTC since 2021 and really enjoys working with both the kids and her coworkers! She's the oldest of three and has lots of younger cousins so has several years of experience taking care of kids.

Kira

Kira is a rising Junior at Lincoln High School. She spends her free time in the outdoors, biking, camping, and climbing. She runs cross country, and plays basketball and ultimate frisbee for Lincoln. She has been a camp counselor for Cub Scout camps in the past and is excited to be part of the HOFTC team!

Maya

⭑ SITE MANAGER ⭑
Maya just graduated from Oregon State University where she studied Education & Ethnic Studies. She grew up playing many sports, including volleyball, soccer & lacrosse in Seattle. Over the years, she has had lots of experience interacting with kids and is currently working at the daycare on OSU's campus.

Olive


Olive is a junior at Bishop Blanchet High School. She enjoys playing sports such as cross country, flag football, and lacrosse. Olive has plenty of experience in babysitting and tutoring kids, and is looking forward to HOFTC this summer!

Carmen

Carmen is a junior at Roosevelt High School. She has had experience with tutoring and babysitting kids. Carmen enjoys spending her free time reading and drawing. She also enjoys spending time outside, particularly backpacking, hiking, and playing lacrosse.

Gracelyn

Gracelyn is a freshman at the University of Washington, where she is studying neuroscience, French and dance. She is a dancer and runner, and dedicates her time to teaching young dancers and neurodiverse kids. She is looking forward to returning to HOFTC this summer!

Isaac

Isaac just finished his freshman year at WSU. He has a lot of fun working with kids and hopes to be a teacher one day. This will be his third summer as a counselor at Hall of Fame Team Camp, and he hopes to have just as much fun this year as he did each previous summer!

Julia

Julia is a college freshman at Trinity College Dublin. When she is not busy with school, she loves to drive, hike, and hang out with her little brother. Julia is looking forward to her second year at Hall of Fame Team Camp, and hopes to have a lot of fun!

Lucia

Lucia is a rising junior at Bishop Blanchet High School. She enjoys playing club soccer for ECFC, and loves to be active and outdoors. Lucia also loves spending times with friends and family, playing lacrosse, and traveling. She has 3 siblings and a dog, and loves to babysit and spend time with her cousins. She is super excited to work at the Hall of Fame Team Camp this year!

Morgan

Morgan is a rising freshman at Washington State University. Outside of school, she loves to dance and spend time outdoors. She has been working for Hall of Fame for the past three years and is excited for another summer!

Saffira

Saffira has been working with children since she was 11 and has been devoted to making sure kids are having fun and being creative. She loves musical theater, dancing, any type of arts and crafts, and baking. She attends Roosevelt High School and is planning on going to college for family medicine.
