In close partnership with the school community, HOFTC provides after-school enrichment programming on-site. We work with many amazing locally owned businesses to deliver a diverse menu of classes for families to choose from.

with a variety of class options, from visual arts to sports to STEM, and much more.

Multiple classes per day help support families' unique schedules while giving kids the variety they love.

  • HOFTC is not a licensed childcare provider

  • There is no after-school enrichment classes on SPS non-school days.

  • Not all activities will be offered for all ages in every session.

  • Unless otherwise indicated, all ages are welcome to join any class. Kids will be divided into appropriate age groups daily.

  • Pricing by class type and time varies, as detailed in the current session offerings.
    Note: Partner-led classes are typically sold at a higher price than HOFTC-led classes.

1on1 Sports: All-Sports

K-2ND Grade, Min 10/Max 18

We will learn the strategies and motor-skills of various sports and games while playing games and scrimmages. Great fun, great camaraderie, and great exercise! Have fun playing all of your favorite sports and games, including: Basketball – Soccer – Kickball – Capture the Flag – Line Tag – Ultimate Frisbee and more…

1on1 Sports: Soccer

K-2ND Grade, Min 10/Max 18

Skilled and experienced instructors will conduct an exciting and progressive session each week right after school. We will learn age-appropriate fundamentals, rules and strategies of the beautiful game, and have fun scrimmaging while focusing on teamwork, sportsmanship, and FUN!

Akiko: Seattle Japanese Club

K-5TH Grade, Min 5/Max 10

This Japanese club is for all students who are new to Japanese or have learned some. Students will practice spelling the first 46 letters called Hiragana using provided worksheets. For returning students, Katakana, another 46 letters and Kanji, Chinese characters will be introduced. Each sessions include Japanese traditional and seasonal activities such as Calligraphy, Tea ceremony, Kimono day and traditional festival, Origami, Anime, movie and Japanese characters, Japanese songs and dance etc. Also, we will work on Japanese food (rice ball making, mochi baking or cold noodles etc.) in the classroom and will introduce a small portion of a store-purchased Japanese snacks each class. Please make sure your child’s listed allergies are accurate during registration.

Bilingual Kids Seattle: Spanish Language 

K-5TH Grade, Min 10/Max 18

Students will learn and practice the second most commonly spoken language in the U.S. while benefiting from language learner outcomes such as support for higher academic achievement and the development of cognitive skills. Additionally, learning a new language gives students a greater global understanding of our world and access to another culture to see things from a new perspective. This is an immersion class consisting of language instruction in an academic setting which follows an innovative, dynamic and well-researched curriculum.

Bricks 4 Kidz: Jurassic Land

K-3RD Grade, Min 8/Max 14

Using motorized LEGO® bricks, we will build a world that comes to life with the gentle Brontosaurus, ferocious Velociraptor, terrifying T. Rex, and more! We’ll learn about amazing dinosaurs that lived during the Jurassic period, and other extinct, prehistoric animals that roamed the earth and swam the seas. Come learn, build and play at Jurassic Brick Land!

Bricks 4 Kidz: Pirate's Quest

K-3RD Grade, Min 8/Max 14

Shiver me timbers! Using LEGO® Bricks, We'll build motorized pirate ships and launch trebuchets as we search for buried treasure. Beware me mateys, if it’s too late, you must abandon ship and build a rowboat to escape - but watch out for crocodiles! Anchors aweigh!

HOFTC: Choose Your Own Adventure

All Ages, Mon/Tue/Thu Max 8, Wed/Fri Max 24

Would your child like to join friends for an organized active game led by one of our experienced counselors? Would they prefer to play an indoor board game or card game? How about solo time to color or work on homework? Maybe they just need some less-structured free-time on the playground or field (rain or shine!) after school to burn off excess energy and engage in free play. We offer all of those options! Choose Your Own Adventure allows each child to recharge after school in their own way, without screens and with proper supervision.

HOFTC: Gaga Ball + HOF Games

2ND-5TH Grade Wed B0, K-5th Grade Wed B1/Fri Min 8/Max 16

Can’t get enough Gaga Ball? Play every week while mixing in some other summer camp favorites such as 9-Square, Castle Ball, and dodgeball games! Newcomers will learn the games and improve their skills, while seasoned players can get their competitive juices flowing.

Kids Carpentry Seattle

K-5TH Grade, Min 5/Max 18

Kids' Carpentry is a hands-on toy building experience designed to teach kids practical woodworking skills with an emphasis on the safe use of hand tools. While kids construct fun and exciting projects, they are also empowered to become independent thinkers--building confidence, self-esteem, and a repertoire of practical skills that will last them a lifetime. At the end of the session kids will bring home one or more wooden games or toys that they have built by hand from scratch.

Kodely: Eco Innovators Lab

K-5TH Grade, Min 6/Max 18

A sustainability-focused STEM program where students design solutions to real-world environmental challenges, including water filtration, recycling systems, and eco-friendly inventions using everyday materials.

Kong Academy: Ninja Adventure Games

K-2ND Grade, Min 6/Max 12

Get ready for an adventurous journey in Social Awareness, Relationships, and Responsible Decision-Making Skills. The Kong Academy program empowers kids physically, socially, and emotionally through: play, games, and parkour-based movement. Join us as your kids unlock their social superpowers through fitness-focused games and movement-based adventures. They'll dive into a world of teamwork, navigating challenges that foster social awareness and build positive relationships.

Orangutan Chess: Chess Club

K-8TH Grade, Min 8/Max 24

Chess Club is a community for new and experienced students to learn and play together. We review how to setup and play Standard Chess, including checkmate patterns, chess tricks and traps (tactics), and how to start a game (openings). All students receive a ChessKid account with 24/7 access to supplemental chess puzzles, lessons, and games! Students learn how to play in chess tournaments (optional). Students also learn popular chess variants and invent their own variants.

Rainy Day Dinner Club: Weekly Dinner

2ND-5TH Grade, Min 9/Max 11

Each week, students learn basic cooking skills while making dinner for their family! Students will create delicious dishes while focusing on the importance of local ingredients, scratch cooking, and natural preservatives while practicing knife skills and kitchen safety. Each entrée will serve 4 to 6 and will be packaged in oven-ready cookware with baking instructions. Please note that we offer vegetarian options upon request during registration. All our meals are nut free, but we are unable to accommodate other food allergies or dietary restrictions. All meals must be refrigerated or cooked within 30-minutes of the class ending. (Students attending an after-care program or leaving the food at room temperature past the 30-minutes run the risk of getting a foodborne illness.). At Rainydaydinnerclub.com our mission is to cultivate enthusiasm for cooking and build a positive culture around family meals! We use the perspective of food, cooking, and nutrition to learn about geography, math, science, and culture, while helping kids develop a life-long love of fresh ingredients and vegetables.

Seattle Dance Fitness: Hip Hop Kids

K-5TH Grade, Min 5/Max 15

Hip Hop Kids Dance Fitness classes (aka Hip Hop Kids) feature kid-friendly routines based on original hip hop and pop choreography. We break down the steps and add games and other activities into the class structure. Plenty of time to FREESTYLE too! Think of this class as a weekly after school DANCE PARTY! Hip Hop Kids helps to develop a healthy lifestyle and incorporate fitness as a natural part of children’s lives by making fitness fun! Classes incorporate key childhood development elements like leadership, respect, teamwork, confidence, self-esteem, memory, creativity, coordination, and cultural awareness.

 

Strategic Kids: Magical Origami

K-5TH Grade, Min 6/Max 18

Magic Origami is a fun and exciting class where children will explore the use of origami in performing magic. Some magic tricks include the magical bag, Harry the Waking Pelican, George the Curious Monkey, Magic Blooming Flowers & much more. Students will gain confidence in themselves by performing magic tricks!

 

Tabletop Village: Pokémon Club

2ND-6TH Grade, Min 8/Max 18

By providing lessons for children to trade and learn how to play the Pokémon Trading Card Game, your children will learn how to contextualize their reading and math skills, long term strategic thinking and planning, how to make fair and equitable trades, and how to be a kind and sportsmanlike competitor. Our certified Pokémon Professors will provide, decks for children to play with (all levels of play) among - other materials, teaching materials and educational games (Pokécatch, Attach and Attack, Raid Battles, etc.), and high-quality lessons/presentations on how to play Pokémon TCG.

 

Where Creatives Gather: Mixed Media Art

K-5TH Grade, Min 12/Max 16

In this quarter, let us explore new projects using mixed media! Projects will include, LEGO art, clay, paper lanterns, mosaics and 3 dimensional sculptures re-purposing toys, etc.

 

Where Creatives Gather: Sensory/Slime Club

K-5TH Grade, Min 12/Max 16

In this quarter, we will make two types of slime, floam, bath bombs with hidden figurines, DIY squishies, galaxy jars, etc.
