In close partnership with the school community, HOFTC provides after-school enrichment programming on-site. We work with many amazing locally owned businesses to deliver a diverse menu of classes for families to choose from.

  • HOFTC is not a licensed childcare provider

  • There is no after-school enrichment classes on SPS non-school days.

  • Not all activities will be offered for all ages in every session.

  • Unless otherwise indicated, all ages are welcome to join any class. Kids will be divided into appropriate age groups daily.

  • Pricing by class type and time varies, as detailed in the current session offerings.
    Note: Partner-led classes are typically sold at a higher price than HOFTC-led classes.

1on1 Sports: After-School Hoops

(K-2ND, Min 10/Max 18)

Join One-on-One Basketball this semester for After School Hoops®, an ideal after school activity for aspiring athletes. Basketball is a unique sport that combines upper and lower body motor-skill learning with an intense cardiovascular workout. Our organization has decades of experience teaching this sport in a motivating, inclusive and age-appropriate manor. After School Hoops® makes three guarantees: your child will learn, sweat, and have fun!

Chessmates: Chess Club

(1ST-5TH Grade, Min 8/Max 14)

Join the chess club! Learn tactics and strategies of chess, solve chess puzzles, and play the game with your friends! Knowledge of chess moves recommended.

CraftLab Seattle: Warm Winter Creations

(1ST-5TH Grade, Min 8/Max 12)

Students will learn new art techniques each week, explore texture and color, and use upcycled materials to bring their creations to life. As the days get cooler, kids will discover the joy of making art that feels warm, comforting, and filled with light. Each week we’ll create cozy themed projects—like painting mugs of hot cocoa, weaving colorful wall hangings, and crafting glowing lanterns. This class is all about celebrating comfort, creativity, and the simple pleasure of making something with your own hands.

 

Emerald City Creative Arts: Hip Hop Groove

(2ND-5TH, Min 5/Max 12)

Get ready to move, groove, and express yourself! Hip-hop groove introduces students to high energy world of hip-hop, dance in a fun, supportive and creative environment. Dancers will learn, age-appropriate choreography, foundational, hip-hop moves and freestyle skills while exploring rhythm, coordination and confidence. Each class includes a warm-up skill, building exercises and choreography practice all set to a beat kid, friendly music. Students are encouraged to bring their own personality and creativity to the dance floor, Building, not just technique, but self expression and teamwork too. No experience necessary just a positive attitude and a love for music and movement!

Emerald City Creative Arts: Mini Movers Hip Hop

(K-2ND, Min 6/Max 14)

Let’s dance, wiggle, and groove! Mini Movers Hip-Hop is a playful introduction to hip-hop dance, designed especially for young children. This class builds coordination, rhythm, and confidence through age-appropriate movement, fun games, and high-energy music that kids love. Dancers develop motor skills, body awareness, and teamwork—all while having fun on the dance floor!

HOFTC: Choose Your Own Adventure

(K-5TH Grade, Max 8)

Would your child like to join friends for an organized active game led by one of our experienced counselors? Would they prefer to play an indoor board game or card game? How about solo time to color or work on homework? Maybe they just need some less-structured freetime on the playground or field (rain or shine!) after school to burn off excess energy and engage in free play. We offer all of those options! Choose Your Own Adventure allows each child to recharge after school in their own way, without screens and with proper supervision.

HOFTC: Gaga Ball + HOF Games

(K-2ND Grade, Min 8/Max 16)

Can’t get enough Gaga Ball? Play every week while mixing in some other summer camp favorites such as 9-Square, Castle Ball, and dodgeball games! Newcomers will learn the games and improve their skills, while seasoned players can get their competitive juices flowing.

Kids’ Carpentry Seattle

(K-5TH Grade, Min 5/Max 8)

Kids' Carpentry is a hands-on toy building experience designed to teach kids practical woodworking skills with an emphasis on the safe use of hand tools. While kids construct fun and exciting projects, they are also empowered to become independent thinkers--building confidence, selfesteem, and a repertoire of practical skills that will last them a lifetime. At the end of the session kids will bring home one or more wooden games or toys that they have built by hand from scratch.

Little Hands: Machine Sewing

(1ST-5TH Grade, Min 3/Max 9)

Welcome to LHC’s Machine Sewing class, designed specifically for students, 1st grade and up! Whether you’re brand new to machine sewing or already have experience, this camp is designed to cater to all skill levels. All students will have a full safety overview of essential machine safety protocols, after which new students will complete our beginner sewing curriculum, while the more experienced students can build off their existing skills, taking their sewing abilities to the next level. This class is student-led, and they advance at their own pace with autonomy over the projects they choose to create. Projects include backpacks, phone cases, clothing, accessories, bags, games, stuffed animals and are swapped out every session! This is our most popular and most inclusive class where creativity knows no bounds! *For all new sewers, the first class of the camp is mandatory; please contact Chelsea Cook if your child is unable to attend.

Mad Science: Crazy Chemworks!

(1ST-5TH Grade, Min 8/Max 20)

In this program children make gooey slime, experiment with different reactions, and learn to use the tools that chemist use. Polymers and catalysts are only two of the fascinating concepts young scientists explore in this thrilling trip through the chemistry lab! At the end of every class, they take home an educational toy that extends the learning experience! Our class topics: Lab Works, Chem in a Flash, Junior Reactors, Glow Show, pH Phactor, Super Sticky Stuff, Slime Time, Dry Ice Capades.

Math N Stuff: Pokémon Trainers Club

(2ND-5TH Grade, Min 8/Max 20)

Pokémon is a card game in which two players take on the role of Pokémon trainers, attempting to outwit and outplay each other using different Pokémon creatures and tactics in the arena. This after-school Pokémon class teaches the basic rules of the Pokémon Trading Card Game! Our young Pokémon trainers will get their own trainer decks to duel their friends. They will add new cards to their decks as they learn deeper strategies and the spirit of the game.
