In close partnership with the school community, HOFTC provides after-school enrichment programming on-site. We work with many amazing locally owned businesses to deliver a diverse menu of classes for families to choose from.

There is no after-school enrichment classes on SPS non-school days.

Not all activities will be offered for all ages in every session.

Unless otherwise indicated, all ages are welcome to join any class. Kids will be divided into appropriate age groups daily.

Note: Partner-led classes are typically sold at a higher price than HOFTC-led classes.

Chessmates: Chess Club
(1ST-5TH Grade, Min 8/Max 14)
Join the chess club! Learn tactics and strategies of chess, solve chess puzzles, and play the game with your friends! Knowledge of chess moves recommended.
Emerald City Creative Arts: Mini Movers Hip Hop
(K-2ND Grade, Min 6/Max 14)
Let’s dance, wiggle, and groove! Mini Movers Hip-Hop is a playful introduction to hip-hop dance, designed especially for young children. This class builds coordination, rhythm, and confidence through age-appropriate movement, fun games, and high-energy music that kids love. Dancers develop motor skills, body awareness, and teamwork—all while having fun on the dance floor!
HOFTC: Choose Your Own Adventure
(K-5TH Grade, Max 8)
Would your child like to join friends for an organized active game led by one of our experienced counselors? Would they prefer to play an indoor board game or card game? How about solo time to color or work on homework? Maybe they just need some less-structured free-time on the playground or field (rain or shine!) after school to burn off excess energy and engage in free play. We offer all of those options! Choose Your Own Adventure allows each child to recharge after school in their own way, without screens and with proper supervision.
Illumination Learning Studio: Elements of Drama
(K-5th Grade, Min 7/Max 14)
During this class students will learn a range of fundamental elements of drama allowing students to gradually build their skills and confidence in theatrical expression and imaginative exploration. Each week we will focus on a specific aspect including miming, emotions, observation and voice, improv and more!
Kodely: Rube Goldberg Lab
(K-4TH Grade, Min 6/Max 18)
Welcome to our Rube Goldberg Lab! In this afterschool program, students unleash creativity and teamwork by designing elaborate chain reaction machines with everyday materials. They’ll explore STEM principles, develop critical thinking, and foster persistence, culminating in a grand exhibition for parents to celebrate their achievements. Join us for a journey of invention and imagination!
Where Creatives Gather: Adventures in Art—Mixed Media
(K-5th Grade, Min 8/Max 18)
Join us for another fun filled quarter of mixed media art. Projects will include, designing a one of kind tote bags, matching keychain and pin, resin charms, artist trading cards, colorful banners and creating a mini journal from scratch.
