Emerald City Creative Arts: Mini Movers Hip Hop

(K-2ND Grade, Min 6/Max 14)

Let’s dance, wiggle, and groove! Mini Movers Hip-Hop is a playful introduction to hip-hop dance, designed especially for young children. This class builds coordination, rhythm, and confidence through age-appropriate movement, fun games, and high-energy music that kids love. Dancers develop motor skills, body awareness, and teamwork—all while having fun on the dance floor!

HOFTC: Choose Your Own Adventure

(K-5TH Grade, Max 8)

Would your child like to join friends for an organized active game led by one of our experienced counselors? Would they prefer to play an indoor board game or card game? How about solo time to color or work on homework? Maybe they just need some less-structured free-time on the playground or field (rain or shine!) after school to burn off excess energy and engage in free play. We offer all of those options! Choose Your Own Adventure allows each child to recharge after school in their own way, without screens and with proper supervision.

Illumination Learning Studio: Storytelling Studio

(K-5th Grade, Min 7/Max 14)

Students will embark on a 8-week storytelling adventure with Illumination Learning Studio, crafting captivating tales while sparking creativity and building confidence! Each week, we’ll explore a new storytelling skill through fun, engaging activities — from creating memorable characters to weaving thrilling plots. Students will practice telling short stories, incorporating emotion to how surprise or excitement, and adding simple dialogues. At the end of the session, we'll have a round robin storytelling showcase.

Seattle Chess School: Chess Club

(K-5TH Grade, Min 7/Max 22)

Chess is more than a game — it’s a way to think, create, and connect. Chess club is a place where all students will thrive in a supportive, fun, and engaging environment. In chess club serious competition is always tempered with kindness and good sportsmanship. The program includes weekly matches, game reviews, and touches of chess history and culture. Our coach will meet each student where they are, fostering strategic thinking, creativity, and confidence. For the best experience, we recommend new students know the names of the pieces and how they move — but a love of learning is the only true prerequisite.

Kodely: Tiny Architects

(K-4TH Grade, Min 8/Max 20)

Students learn about architecture and geometry by designing cities, towers, and bridges with recyclable materials and clay. Lessons connect math and design while promoting spatial reasoning and creativity.

Where Creatives Gather: Adventures in Art—Clay, Mixed Media, & Nature

(K-5th Grade, Min 8/Max 18)

In this quarter, we will focus on creating colorful art associated with nature and fantasy, our favorite seasons, and hobbies. There will be a focus on clay but will include mixed media and materials found in nature. Projects will include clay bowls with imbedded images, mini sculptures and figures, handmade beads, clay molds, and stamping.
